Located on the Faroe Islands - in the northern part of the Atlantic ocean. The site lays on the southern slope near the river with an insane view of the ocean.

Our task was to create an archtectural concept and renderings for marketing purposes. 

Sloped areas covered with low grass fields mixed with rocks and stones slowly go to the oceanic water. Inspired by this landscape our idea was to underline the natural beauty and create a connection between architecture and the environment.

The main form-creating idea becomes a rock. The rock, where visitors can come, seat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The rock which is natural to this surrounding, and as a form - works as a counterweight to the slope.

Triangular shapes and green roof, as a already traditional architectural feature of nordic architecture. 

For the finishes were chosen only natural materials: concrete, glass, steel, and wooden planks.
